Downcity Ink is a new online literary journal and newsletter publishing stories about Rhode Island from writers who've called this whacky place home.
We're looking for lighthearted, creative, super-niche writing about the 401 and all our weird little quirks. We're talking essays about Wright's Farm, strong opinions on bakery pizza, open letters to Mounties texting and riding through downtown (or should we say, Downcity), and basically just any awful great, awful funny writing about what makes Rhode Island, Rhode Island.
All work will be compensated in the amount of at least $100, which we hope we'll be able to increase over time. We'll aim to get back to you with a yes or no within a month.
